The Vista Lounge in Llanelli is part of the Diplomat Hotel, a family business opened in 1972.
The site that is now the Vista Lounge opened in 1989 as "Le Caprice". 2 years ago the Jenkins family expanded again, opening Langostinos. Le Caprice recently closed for refurbishment before it's relaunch as the Vista Lounge on 19th November.
"It was time for a change" the Jenkins family told us. "It's important to move with the times and give customers what they want. We have reinvested in the business with a make over for the venue. The Vista Lounge has a modern new look and great new menus. By investing in the Vista Lounge, we are also investing in Llanelli, creating jobs as well as as fantastic place to go"
The Vista Lounge is the first phase of a boutique hotel which is coming soon, further creating job opportunities in Llanelli.
When asked about their experience with Castell Howell, the Jenkins family told us:
"We have been with Castell Howell from the beginning. We have a great relationship with our rep, Diane Hood, who always answers the phone no matter what time we call. The service they have offered us over the years has been phenomenal and their prices are good too. They offer a wide range of lines and have always sourced any products that we needed that they didn't list. We have done really well with their own brands, especially Celtic Pride, Caffe Eto & Simply Cakes."
When asked to describe Castell Howell in 3 words, they said "One stop, excellent, quality"
